They have never know the world other than one of constantly improving digital technologies. Yet what sets this generation apart is not so much the use of internet technology (everyone uses that), but their use of social media. For millennials, social media is a seamlessly integrated into their lives as their computers and cell phones: its how they communicate & socialize, contact business and explore the world. I've heard so many talks, post and pictures promoting about being responsible for every minute that your posting, and also every like or even though you share and etc. But those didn't have an impact to me. I post whatever I want like pictures and status as much as I anted too, post anything I want. I just really don't care about this but in this seminar taught me a lot and made me realize that there are more relevant things to post, to like and lastly to share.
It talked about how we the facebook user, or twitter and instagramers and whatsoever we call them, affect the social media. What we like or what we can say something about our perspectives and it can affects our journalism. As the speaker said a while ago media producers what the consumers wanted that made me realized that one you tweet, post or whatever you make can affect every single people and we should really be clever and we need to be responsible for what can we tweet. This is a saying that Ms. Lian shared, to us , it's just a three word sentence but it says so much about what we made the media produce. What we made to trend is what the media producers because of they know that trending is what interests us to all be responsible not just because it is relevant or irrelevant but to know what is really going on and what we should focus on. Everything we did in the social media accounts.
